Membership criteria
Members of GCIC:
- are a technology enterprise, developing or commercialising innovative new products or services based on their own proprietary intellectual property
- have been incorporated less than five (5) years
- are privately held growth oriented, for-profit corporation with no more than twenty-five (25) full time employees
- are likely to generate economic benefits within Queensland
- are amenable to advice from our selected business and technical advisors
- agree to advise the Incubator Manager of any location changes for a minimum of five (5) years after graduation
- agree to participate in surveys while in the Program and for five (5) years after graduation from the Program. These surveys are necessary for programmatic purposes to collect general financial, sales, and employment information in order to determine the Incubator's effectiveness and will not be published or made public in any manner which would identify specific information about any individual company
Membership categories
- Virtual member which includes paid membership with full access to GCIC services and periodic use of physical facilities (ie. no dedicated workspaces)
- Resident member which includes paid membership with full access to GCIC services and dedicated workspaces within the GCIC office suites located at Griffith University's Gold Coast campus

It should be noted that whilst at this time GCIC does not provide wet-lab facilities for biotechnology companies, GCIC will assist members in locating suitable wet lab space.
