Advisory Panel

One of the key components of the GCIC program is its mentoring stream. Each client is assigned at least one mentor who work with them on an ongoing basis for the duration of their membership – providing our clients with access to decades of highly qualified skills and experience. Mentors are drawn from the GCIC Executive Team and GCIC’s Advisory Panel which includes seasoned entrepreneurs, expert service providers and senior managers from multinational corporations. GCIC considers these mentors a key and highly valuable resource.

The mentors are drawn from a wide range of business professions and industries, possessing extensive professional experience and knowledge across many business areas including: law, financial management, investment funding, accounting, intellectual property management, marketing, technology innovation, international business development, product R and D, sales, , etc.

GCIC mentors can be called on from time to time to:

  • participate in the process of screening membership applications
  • provide mentoring services to GCIC members

A GCIC mentor/advisor may at his/her discretion provide on a volunteer basis mentoring services to GCIC members. The mentoring services can include:

  1. Meeting with the GCIC members to discuss the strategic options available to the member and challenge such options so that the member has some understanding of such options
  2. Offering alternative options that may not have been previously considered by the member and/or
  3. Assisting the member to overcome specific challenges or achieve key commercial objectives
