Dr Clarence N.W. Tan is the founder and Executive Chairman of Bond Wireless, a Queensland-based award-winning wireless software applications and services company. He is also currently an Adjunct Professor at Bond University’s Faculty of Business, Information Technology and Sustainable Development where he had been an Associate Dean, and he is also an Adjunct Professor at Griffith University’s Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. He was selected to be on the panel of International Judges representing Australia for the Asia Pacific IC & T Awards in 2002. He was the Chair of the Gold Coast Chapter of the Australian Computer Society for a number of years.
Dr Tan is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society and, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He is a member of a number of other professional bodies, including Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, Eta Kappa Nu, Omega Rho and Alpha Pi Mu and a Fellow of the Institute of Business Administration (UK).
He would like to contribute his knowledge, experience and international network gleaned from his experiences as an academic, banker, angel investor and entrepreneur to assist start-up companies to achieve global success.
