Margo gained extensive experience in the business world as the founder, proprietor and executive of businesses in the import, export and retail industries as well as being a business advisor with government. She built on this experience as a consultant working closely with clients in many diverse areas such as strategic branding (creating, monitoring and growing brands), marketing, consumer behaviour, shopping centre layout and mix, atmospherics, strategic growth and business research.

Margo continues to use her business knowledge and experience to assist others develop their business skills. She is an Adjunct with Hawaii Pacific University (HPU) lecturing in their Masters of Organisation Change (MAOC) online program. She supervises doctoral (DBA) students at the University of Newcastle (Australia). She is also affiliated with Southern Cross University (SCU) as a Statistical Methodologist and doctoral supervisor at the Graduate College of Management, Tweed Campus. She has also lectured and delivered talks and workshops in Research Methods, Statistics and all aspects of Marketing in Australia, Hong Kong, Hawaii and Malaysia. Margo holds a PhD in Consumer Behaviour.

The areas in which Margo has extensive knowledge and expertise cover four distinct streams: Marketing, Business Research, The Retail Environment, and Organisational Change.
